Here I explore the myth - often perpetrated by fellow editors and picked up by prospective non-English speaking authors - that they must first learn to write in English. Frankly, it doesn't matter and if asked by people if I think it's better to write in English or to write in a native language and have it translated my response is 'I don't know; and I don't care - just write'.
